Let's Talk

Patriots owner Robert Kraft has concluded a discreet deal, selling his long-held apartment within New York City’s iconic Plaza Hotel for a substantial sum of $22.5 million. The transaction, not publicly listed for sale, marks a significant off-market exchange.

Kraft, known for his ownership of the New England Patriots, recently secured a new residence in Manhattan’s esteemed locale at 220 Central Park South, situated on Billionaires’ Row.

Originally acquired for $14.74 million during the Plaza’s transition to condominiums in 2007, Kraft’s farewell to this historic residence marks the end of an era. Sparse details about the Plaza unit hint at its exclusivity. Situated at the prestigious corner of Fifth Avenue and 59th Street, the Plaza Hotel holds a storied legacy dating back to the early 1900s, drawing esteemed figures such as fashion icon Tommy Hilfiger and London developer Christian Candy to its esteemed halls in past real estate dealings.

Aside from his New York ventures, Kraft’s extensive real estate portfolio encompasses a Palm Beach penthouse acquired for $23.75 million in December 2022, a Hamptons property on Meadow Lane purchased for $43 million in 2021, and a residence in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
