Steve Carell will make his Broadway debut among a stellar ensemble cast in Lincoln Center Theater’s upcoming new production of Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya, commencing performances on April 2 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. Directed by Lila Neugebauer and featuring a fresh translation by Heidi Schreck, the production is slated for its grand opening on April 24.

Carell assumes the titular character, joined by Alison Pill portraying Sonya, Anika Noni Rose as Yelena, William Jackson Harper as Astrov, Alfred Molina embodying Alexander Serabryakov, Jayne Houdyshell as Mama Voinitski, and Mia Katigbak as Marina.

The stage design will be curated by Mimi Lien, costumes crafted by Kaye Voyce, lighting orchestrated by Lap Chi Chu and Elizabeth Harper, while soundscapes will be shaped by Mikhail Fiksel and Beth Lake.
