The intersection of the Plaza District and Billionaires’ Row is about to reach a new pinnacle. Newly released renderings for 625 Madison Avenue offer a first look at the 52-story skyscraper set to redefine the Midtown East skyline.
Developed by Related Companies in partnership with Andrew Mathias, and designed by the powerhouse duo of Foster + Partners and Gensler, the project is a striking response to the city’s surging demand for “trophy” office environments.

A Pivot Toward Carbon-Neutral Luxury
While the site was originally envisioned as a residential supertall, the development team has strategically pivoted to a commercial scheme. This ultra-modern, 840,000-square-foot tower is designed to be carbon-neutral, aligning with the global “flight to quality” among top-tier firms. Market expectations are already soaring, with asking rents projected to exceed a staggering $400 per square foot.

Architectural Innovation
The tower’s aesthetic is a masterclass in contemporary design, featuring:
-
Curved Glass & Steel: Polished steel framing and soft, curved corners optimized for Central Park views.
-
Vertical Greenery: Integrated landscaping that brings nature into the workspace.
-
Triple-Height Amenities: Stacked office clusters separated by soaring 40-foot glass amenity levels and outdoor terraces.
A Legacy Reimagined
Located between East 58th and 59th Streets, the site formerly housed the midcentury headquarters for Revlon and Related Companies. With demolition completed in 2025, the stage is now set for a structure that will serve as a bridge between the corporate power of the Plaza District and the residential opulence of Billionaires’ Row.
As Manhattan continues to reinvent its office core, 625 Madison Avenue stands as a testament to the enduring allure of Midtown’s most famous corridor.
