57th Street Report

A New Landmark on Billionaires’ Row

Construction has officially concluded at 125 West 57th Street, a new 30-story mixed-use tower on Manhattan’s prestigious Billionaires’ Row. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Alchemy-ABR Investment Partners and Cain International, the building rises 420 feet and spans approximately 260,000 square feet.

In total, the development delivers roughly 185,000 square feet of full-floor Class A office space, 7,000 square feet of retail, and a dedicated office amenity floor designed by Gensler. In addition, the project includes a new six-story home for the historic Calvary Baptist Church, also designed by FXCollaborative.

Ground-Level Completion and Architectural Details

Since the last construction update earlier this summer, all remaining work at street level has been completed. Construction fencing and sidewalk sheds have been removed, revealing the finished entrances for the offices and the church.

The church entrance is marked by a tall stepped arch framed by bronze-toned vertical fins and a prominent cross. Meanwhile, the office lobby and retail frontage contribute to a refined and modern streetscape along West 57th Street.

Office Space with Central Park Views

Office floors begin on the 14th floor, approximately 170 feet above street level. As a result, tenants benefit from sweeping views of Central Park to the north. Typical office floor plates measure around 10,000 square feet and feature ceiling heights exceeding 14 feet, creating expansive and light-filled work environments.

Tenants also have access to a curated suite of amenities, including lounges, meeting rooms, boardrooms, and more than 4,000 square feet of landscaped outdoor terraces. These spaces are designed to enhance workplace flexibility and wellness.

Leasing, Transit, and Midtown Connectivity

Leasing and marketing for the office component are being led by JLL. The building is also exceptionally well connected, located between the 57th Street station on Sixth Avenue (serving the F train) and the 57th Street–Seventh Avenue station (serving the N, Q, R, and W trains).

This prime location offers seamless access across Manhattan and beyond.

A Sign of Continued Demand for Trophy Office Assets

With its landmark architecture, modern office infrastructure, and Central Park-adjacent address, 125 West 57th Street highlights the continued demand for high-quality commercial real estate along Billionaires’ Row. Ultimately, the project reflects the evolving role of mixed-use developments in Midtown Manhattan’s core.
